John Stephans. Atlanta Georgia I sent my 922 in to be worked on by the guys at Glentech. They did a fantasic job. Prior to sending I lost all my satellite tiles to a master reset. I had the battery replaced and the ratings ceilings bug fix done on top of the Ultra Plus maps. When I got my unit back I easily programmed in the new satellite tiles and went to scanning the skys. I was amazed by the new channels and the response smoothness of the receiver. Watching the master channels while ITC on C3 and G0 the ratings ceilings bug was gone. It was great to have the guide data there on those channels too just like in the 4DTV heydays. I was very much impressed with the service I was given by Glentech and highly recommend them to anyone. They took very good care of my receiver and sent me an e-mail tracking confirmation upon its return. They gave me free support to help me get my receiver reconnected and set up. I asked if they could look into my tuning issue also. They contacted me when the receiver was being worked on and told me they found an issue that was preventing DC signals to stay locked. They quoted me for the repair (very reasonable) did that and put a new battery, Ultra Plus maps, Ratings bug repair and clock fix in my 922. When I got my receiver back everything worked flawless. So I can say I am truly happy with the work Glentech and 4DTV Onlnie does. I really appreciate that they did such extensive research to give us a quality product for our receivers. After having nothing but problems with my Dish Network system I decided to plug the 4DTV back in. I did some searching on the web and was pleased to find out that the 4DTV was still alive and well. They were very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. I highly recommend them to anyone needing work done. They definitly are top notch. San Angelo Texas I made a big mistake and went to those other guys for the maps. When I got my receiver back it began locking up and didn't want to program right. I tried to contact those people and they offered no support for their product, I felt lost. Looking around the web I found Glentech and called them hoping that they could help me out. They treated me with respect and explained the differences between their maps and ones others provide. Others use a beta test set of maps written by ones that does not understand the inner workings of the maps. In short I was a guinea pig for their testing. Glentech offered to take care of my problems at a reduced rate, since they felt bad that I was taken advanage of. Im happy to say that I got my receiver back from Glentech and it works flawlessly. I get channels I never got before and my guide has 100's of channels in it now. I had some questions after I received my 922 back, and Glentech has offered full phone support for everything I needed answered. Don't make the same mistake I did, contact Glentech first and let them make your receiver right from the start. Mark Byczynski. Fort Wayne Indiana Got my receiver back from Glentech the other day and I couldn't be happier. I talked with Glen on the phone prior to doing this a few times. He always treated me with respect and answered all my questions. I went with their get it all package and I am so surprised how well my 4DTV now performs. The satellite count is now 70 satellites up from 23 after I converted it for X4. The Superguide performs better than the old 4DTV guide did that Motorola used to put out. My unit had a problem with channels breaking up when I sent it in. Those guys in Chicago found the issue and fixed it while it was there too. I have a receiver that's good to go for many years to come now. Best money spent on my system in years. I recommend them to anyone. Top notch company to deal with. Anthony Pacini. Boca Raton Florida My 4DTV was suffering the fate of having a master reset done by my dealer. I wasn't happy that all my tiles got lost. My dealer said nothing was able to be done. While looking for an answer on my computer I came across Glentech and gave them a call. The man explained what they could do and that my battery really needed to be changed since my 922 was 10 years old. I sent it in and got the works done. Boy am I happy I did, this thing works great. I have it my DVB receiver slaved to my 922 and the new maps work great with my DVB box too. I had a very pleasant experience with Glentech with my 922, and will be sending in my 920 to them soon.
