Glen's practical education into electronic repair began at a very early age under the mentorship of his father, a certified television technician with 35-years of experience at the Sears Service Center in Chicago.
In 1974 Glen founded G.E.S. Electronics with the design of his first 3 way hi fidelity speaker system. Glen's interests in electronic design and repair were fueled during his high school years when he experimented in designing audio circuits and different designs of speaker systems.
In the 1980s, the G.E.S. name was updated to G.E.S. Communications when experience further expanded to include C & Ku Band TVRO Satellite System & MATV system design, specializing in DXing set-ups and head-end design.
In the 1990's GlenTech Enterprises was born, and operations grew quickly to include personal & business communication equipment, product repair and custom antenna design. At that same time he used his past experience with audio and video to expand into Home Theater Audio & Video design, Custom system installations with proper alignment for room acoustics.
This century knowledge and experience base added Musical Instrument Amplifier Repair, Computer building, troubleshooting problems and Website design creating turn-key websites for clients. We also have expanded our Electronic and Computer Consulting Service. Creating Solutions for clients from our years of knowledge.
As of late 2007 GlenTech has created it's own division dedicated to Custom Website Design. Enter GlenTech Web Creations. Adding this division allows us to better serve the website clients and keep the Electronic end and Website design end it's own entity.
