Under development The Super Smart Circuit    New for 2009
Our Deluxe Active VQES S Video unit will soon be avaliable with our New Super Smart Circuit. What does it do? Our Super Smart Circuit. is highly sophisticated, while doing everything our original VQES Smart Circuit did it has been redesigned with more circuitry and improvements that create a sharper, clearer more defined picture than before. We now employ HFM (High Frequency Multiplying Technology). The HFM processed picture is sharper and clearer. The whites are purer and more pronounced. The definition has been increased. The results are breathtaking. It will be released in our deluxe S video units soon.

Composite Dot Crawl Removal.
Our composite models now offer an optional dot crawl removal circuit. This will remove 99.9% of annoying dot crawl in a composite signal. If you wish this option please let us know so it can be included in your unit.
Information about Digital Artifacts
There are two types of noise that are introduced by digital compression. They are Macroblocking and Mosquito noise. If your watching Dish Network, Direct Tv, Digital Cable, FTA, OTA digital, and 4DTV your receiving some form of digital compression. The reason this compression is done is so the providers can squeeze as many channels into the limited bandwidth as possible. While it allows for more channels, it degrades your viewing experience. The larger your Tv picture is the more these are noticable and annoying. Until now only very expensive processors in the thousands of dollars range were available to combat this. We at GlenTech have come up with a low price cost effective design to aid in your viewing pleasure.
Here are some Examples of the VQES in Action.
In the image above you can see the blocks or tiles in the girls face and hands, this is macroblocking. While somewhat watchable in a stationary picture it becomes very annoying when the image moves. Our VQES reduces macroblocking to a tolerable level. VQES Processed video below.
In the image above you can see the hanging dots around the word mosquito, this is Mosquito noise. This can be around words, objects, people, etc. It can make your viewing experience pretty awful. Our VQES reduces mosquito noise to a tolerable level. VQES Processed video below.
Our VQES Video Quality Enhancement System, by GlenTech is designed to reduce or eliminate these above mentioned artifacts.
So What's the Secret Behind the VQES?
After many hours of testing using different compressed video sources. We came up with a circuit design that goes right to the root of the problem in the video signal. We wanted to keep our circuit design costs to a point where the average consumer could afford the VQES, not only the high end user. Enter our Smart Circuit.
The VQES Smart Circuit works by, looking at the original video signal, then separates the clean signal from the compression noise. Then the Smart Circuit goes after the noise only to remove it. Our Smart Circuit never removes the good video signal needed for a sharp clean video image.
With the artifacts removed or reduced (depending on severity of compression) Picture and Overall Video Quality are greatly improved. It allows you to enjoy the picture quality you deserve and pay for in this digital age. Not what these program providers are willing to supply.
Analog Uses Also.
The VQES's Smart Circuit goes beyond Digital too. As a plus it's also designed to remove Analog video noise that can be found in legacy Analog sources. Such as video tapes, laser disc, camcorder etc... The VQES is the perfect device for use between your VCR and DVD recorder to clean up those archived old video tapes before copying them to DVD for exceptional clean digital copies.
VQES in Action on an Analog Source.
In the image above you can see the fuzz and noise in the picture. This is typical in an analog source. The VQES processes this noise and removes it so your end results look like the picture below.
What this means is your copies to digital will turn out with much better quality. The VQES also makes video tapes recorded in 6 hr SLP/EP mode look like 2 hr SP mode. The VQES can also be used for just watching old video tapes or legacy analog video sources with much reduced noise.
The VQES is very versatile. It can handle all your Digital and Analog needs.
Making Digital backups of DVD's usually require compression to be added to fit on your blank DVD. The picture quality will suffer. When played back on your Tv set you will notice these digital artifacts. The VQES in line with your output of your DVD player will eliminate these annoying artifacts.
Connecting the VQES.
The VQES connects easily between your Digital or Analog SD 480i source and your Tv/Monitor using either S-Video or composite (RCA, yellow video) connections.
